Your career information stays under your control.

What Metamorphysis stores

• The account information needed for sign-in, including your email address and a protected version of your password.
• Your career profile, saved resumes, job-search list, Resume Check reports, and workspace settings.
• AI conversations, AI suggestions, and career facts that are approved or waiting for review when you use those features.
• If you join a private product test: a participant code, cohort, broad role/experience group, recruitment source, consent choices, task times, controlled problem categories, and structured answers about usability or price. Invitation and access codes are stored only as one-way hashes. Research screens use the participant code rather than your email, resume, or job-description text.
• Limited sign-in and security records, such as active sessions and password-reset records. Expired records and expired unfinished onboarding sessions can be removed during routine cleanup.
• A limited set of product-use markers, such as onboarding started, tailored resume created, review acknowledged, Resume Check completed or failed, and targeted file downloaded or failed. These markers can distinguish two saved resumes so we can measure whether repeat applications are faster, but they do not contain resume text, job descriptions, messages, filenames, email addresses, IP addresses, free-form error messages, or other text you enter. Markers linked to your account are included in your data download and removed when you delete your account. If an unfinished onboarding session expires or is deleted, its account link is removed; the remaining onboarding event name, time, and basic category are not tied to a session or account.

How AI uses your information

AI features use the resume, saved work details, job description, and other workspace information needed for the request you make. The product can also create a search index from selected career text so it can find relevant approved details during AI work.

AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Treat every suggestion as a draft. Check it against your real experience, review it before adding it to your career profile, and read the exported application before sending it.

Your controls

• Edit or delete saved work details and choose which details appear in each resume.
• Approve, reject, archive, or edit career facts suggested by AI.
• Delete AI conversations from the workspace.
• Turn AI career memory on or off in Settings.
• Choose whether future cleanup keeps full AI conversations or only summaries.
• If you join a private product test, choose separately whether you agree to product research, screen observation, optional screen recording, and optional follow-up contact. You may withdraw from the research program.
• Download a JSON copy of the workspace data owned by your account from Settings, including product-use markers and private-test participation records linked to you. The download does not include passwords, active sign-in records, password-reset records, billing IDs, provider credentials, API keys, invitation/access hashes, or AI search indexes that can be rebuilt.
• Permanently delete your account from Settings after entering the confirmation and your current password. This removes your workspace data, saved onboarding material, private-test participation records, and active sign-in sessions. A limited audit record may remain without a link to your account.

What is not published yet

The current public site does not yet publish a full schedule for how long account data is kept or a dedicated privacy contact. Routine cleanup of expired sign-in and onboarding records is not a promise about how long your saved workspace data will be kept.
